Our Cricket player, Victoria Hamunyela, scooped the player of the match award on the 6th of June 2021, after Namibia defeated Nigeria in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier. Erongo Governor Neville Andre Itope paid a visit to his former school, Kuisebmond Secondary School. The governor had a chance to talk to and motivate the students at the school. Former Kuisebmond Secondary School learner Chelsi Shikongo, 23, is Miss Namibia 2021. The beauty contest took place on June 5, 2021, in Windhoek, Namibia. The international model and social activist from Walvis Bay beat 14 other contestants. Chelsi’s social activism started way back at KSS as the head of the Girls’ club at the school.
