KSS Matric Farewell 2023: Capturing Cloud 9 Memories

Sharing is caring!

On the evening of September 8th, 2023, Kuisebmond Secondary School celebrated its Matric Farewell with the enchanting theme ‘Cloud 9.’ The evening was nothing short of spectacular. Before heading to the venue, the matriculants made a pitstop at the school, where the entire community eagerly awaited their arrival. Cheers and shouts filled the air as the matriculants stepped out of their cars, making for an unforgettable start to the night.

The event itself was a whirlwind of joy, dance, and laughter, with both students and staff sharing in the festivities. Our Masters of Ceremonies, Anna and Priscilla, who are esteemed ex-learners of the school, did an outstanding job. Anna also shared valuable insights with the matriculants, offering a glimpse into what it takes to thrive in their first year of university.

The night featured electrifying performances by our talented learners, ‘Bangerhouze,’ and the music was expertly curated by our DJ, also an ex-learner of the school. Our dedicated photographer ensured that every beautiful moment was captured for posterity.

Among the highlights of the evening were the crowning of the Prom Queen, Yvonne Kayele, and the Prom King, Allen Petrus. The title of Best Dressed Male was awarded to Joshua Shikulo, while Queen Nghimwatya was crowned the Best Dressed Female.

Our beloved Principal delivered a heartfelt farewell on behalf of the school, expressing best wishes for all the matriculants. This group of students had already made their mark by putting KSS on the map during their Grade 11 year, earning accolades at the Erongo regional awards. With their dedication, we can anticipate excellent results in this year’s year-end exams, scheduled for next month.

As the Grade 12 Register teachers, we have watched these students grow and flourish over the past five years, from Grade 8 to 12. They are like our own, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all KSS staff and the Bluewhale Hotel for their invaluable contributions in making this event an overwhelming success.

With warm regards, Grade 12 Register Teachers and our HOD, Ms. Adams.
