A Heartfelt Visit from a Proud Ex-Learner
On 17 July 2025, Paulus Shipanga, a proud ex-learner of Kuisebmond Secondary School, visited his former school to hand over soccer balls to our current soccer team. A celebrated Namibian football icon, Paulus was once part of the Namibian National Football Team and is now a respected football coach. His generous gesture is a reminder of how deep roots and true pride in one’s foundation can lead to lasting impact.

Perfect Timing for Upcoming Soccer Events
This donation comes at an especially meaningful moment, as our senior soccer team is preparing to take part in the FNB Classic Clashes, a prestigious high school sports tournament. Additionally, our junior team is set to represent us in another exciting soccer event outside the region. The donated balls will be a vital part of their preparation and training, and we are incredibly grateful.

The Role of Sports in Shaping Our Learners
At Kuisebmond Secondary School, we believe that sports and academics go hand in hand. Sport helps our learners build discipline, teamwork, confidence, and a sense of community. These values are not only essential on the field, but also in life beyond school.
Over the years, we’ve proudly watched many of our learners grow into national and international sports figures. Besides Paulus Shipanga, we celebrate Agnes Samaria, a trailblazer in track and field athletics, and Johanna Benson, a Paralympic gold medalist who has inspired a nation. Their achievements serve as shining examples of where hard work, resilience, and determination can lead.
Thank You, Paulus – You Inspire Us
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Paulus Shipanga for remembering his roots and choosing to invest in the next generation. His donation is more than just equipment – it is a symbol of belief, encouragement, and shared pride.
We hope his visit reminds every learner at Kuisebmond that they too can go far, and that giving back is one of the most powerful ways to lead.
