Kuisebmond Secondary School proudly welcomed Ralph Ruiters, Managing Director of Manica Group Namibia, during a special visit to officially acknowledge and celebrate their generous N$600,000 pledge, now fully deposited towards the completion of the school’s Multi-Purpose Hall.
A Moment of Gratitude Inside the Hall
The small but meaningful event took place inside the hall itself — a powerful reminder that this project is no longer a vision, but a structure steadily moving toward completion.
Our Principal, Mr. J. Maswahu, expressed sincere appreciation to Manica for their significant investment in education and community development, emphasizing that such contributions bring the school closer to realizing a long-standing dream.
Culture, Pride and Community Spirit

The Manica delegation was warmly welcomed by our Oshiwambo school cultural group, whose vibrant traditional dances formed part of the broader cultural diversity that defines Kuisebmond.
The performance was more than entertainment — it was a symbol of the community this hall is meant to serve and uplift.
A Voice from Within: Alumni Appreciation
Our Vice Chairperson of the School Hall Committee and proud alumnus, Vilho Nevonga, delivered heartfelt remarks, thanking Manica for standing with the school and being part of a growing group of partners committed to making this project a reality.
“This is the Kuisebmond We Want Back”
In his address, Ralph Ruiters shared a deeply personal reflection.
He explained that Manica deliberately looked for a project that would:
- Benefit the community as a whole
- Provide space for youth and community activities
- Restore the spirit of Kuisebmond
He recalled a time when Kuisebmond had tennis courts, active spaces, and vibrant community life — something that has gradually faded.
With the inclusion of indoor sports and community programmes, he expressed confidence that:
“This hall will help revive the Kuisebmond we grew up in.”
A Call to Those Yet to Honour Their Pledges
Manica has shown that commitment is not just a promise — it is action.
Their contribution is a clear reminder that:
- This project is real
- Progress is visible
- The impact will be shared by the entire community
As we continue following up on pledges made during the Gala Dinner, we encourage all partners and individuals who committed support to come forward and honour their pledges.
Every contribution brings us closer to completing a facility that will serve generations to come.
Building Together, Finishing Together
The Kuisebmond Secondary School Multi-Purpose Hall is more than a building — it is a community investment, a youth empowerment space, and a symbol of collective effort.
With leaders like Manica stepping forward, we are confident that together, we will complete what we started.
