The Kuisebmond Secondary School garden is flourishing, proving that teamwork, dedication, and sustainable practices can yield incredible results. Today, 22 January 2025, our students harvested fresh spinach and delivered it to the Kuisebmond Old Age Home, continuing the garden’s mission of supporting our community.
A Tradition of Giving
This isn’t the first time the garden has provided for the community. Revitalized three months ago with the support of Eduventures and funding from Aktion Deutschland Hilft and SODI, the garden has become a beacon of sustainability and compassion. The ongoing collaboration between the school’s community members, teachers, and learners ensures that every harvest reaches those in need, spreading hope and care.
Empowering Learners, Enriching Lives
The garden serves as more than just a source of fresh produce—it’s a living classroom where students gain practical agricultural skills and a deeper understanding of sustainability. By delivering spinach to the Kuisebmond Old Age Home, our learners experience firsthand the importance of giving back and building stronger community ties.

A Heartfelt Thanks to Our Champions
Special gratitude goes to our HOD and Science Teachers, for their tireless efforts in managing the garden. Their leadership, combined with the dedication of the learners and support from Eduventures, continues to make this initiative a success.
Growing Hope for the Future
As the garden continues to thrive, so does its impact on Kuisebmond Secondary School and the surrounding community. With every harvest, we’re reminded of the power of collaboration, education, and care.
Here’s to many more bountiful seasons ahead! 🌱✨
