KSS Ranks in the Top 10% of Schools Nationally

Sharing is caring!

We are proud to announce that our school, Kuisebmond Secondary School, has recently achieved impressive academic results in the national examinations for grades 11 and 12. In grade 11 national examinations, our school ranked 26 out of 363 schools, and 4th regionally for schools with a grade of C or better, following only three private schools in the area. Similarly, in grade 12 national examinations, we ranked 31 out of 122 schools, and 4th regionally for schools with a grade of C or better.

To celebrate the academic achievements of our students, we held a prize-giving ceremony on the 2nd of February 2023. The event was originally intended to award the top performers in the junior grades (8, 9, and 10) for the year 2022, but we also took the opportunity to acknowledge our best performers in the national examinations. A motivational speaker was invited to inspire our students and encourage them to continue striving for excellence. The ceremony was rounded off with cultural performances by our learners, which were a true testament to our school’s dedication to both academic and cultural excellence.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, who made it possible to reward our learners with a variety of awards. Without their support, our students would not have had the opportunity to be recognized for their hard work and achievements.

In addition to recognizing our students’ academic excellence, the event also served as an opportunity to announce and swear in the new learners’ representative committee for 2023. We are excited to see what the new committee will accomplish and are confident that they will continue to represent our school with honor and pride.

In conclusion, we are incredibly proud of the academic achievements of our students and are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their successes at the prize-giving ceremony. We look forward to continuing to provide our students with the resources and support they need to succeed academically and culturally.
